We were contacted by this customer in Spokane to determine if roof restoration with Roof Maxx was a viable solution to restoring this roof. Unfortunately, the existing shingles were showing advanced degranulation and the customer elected for full roof replacement rather than restoration.
During the replacement process, we replaced a sheet of rotted sheathing around the chimney, which was caused by previous flashing leaks. To prevent future issues, we installed counter flashing around the chimney. We then installed new underlayment and completed the project with Malarkey Vista shingles in Antique Brown.
