This Coeur d’Alene roof was plagued with repeated wind damage due to incorrect fastening. The customer elected for roof replacement rather than continued repairs. Ice and water shield was installed in the valleys and six feet up from the eaves.
Synthetic underlayment was installed to cover the remainder of the decking. Additional ventilation was added to increase attic airflow. The customer elected for the Malarkey Emerald Pro extended warranty to accompany the Malarkey Vista shingles in weathered wood color. The roof was topped off with Malarkey Ridge Flex low profile ridge cap.
